Welcome to
the Afro Caribbean Association Welfare Committee page. Our main
objectives are to:
- Put Welfare related issues within our community on the political agenda.
- Seek remedies and Welfare support from Mainstream services.
- Empower our community to seek alternative Welfare Care through self-help projects.
Our current project ‘The ACA Welfare Initiatives’ is formed of volunteers
working on Welfare related issues to support members experiencing
problems such as crime and domestic violence, financial hardship,
immigration detention and many more. Our Welfare Committee, in association
with Crawley Borough Council, Crawley Ethnic Minority Partnership
(CEMP), Citizen’s Advice Bureau, and several Voluntary Sector organisations,
is actively pursuing suitable deals and strategies that would benefit
members and our community. Volunteers are invited to join us in this
