Welcome to the Afro Caribbean Association Education and Enterprise page. Our main objectives are to:
- Provide linguistic, employment search and business support classes for our community.
- Seek Education and Enterprise support from Mainstream Services for member’s benefit.
- Empower our community through start up enterprises and other self-help projects.
Our current project ‘The ACA Education and Enterprise Initiative’ is formed
of volunteers working on Education, Employment and Enterprise related
issues such as Basic English and Swahili Classes for everyday use,
writing effective Curriculum Vitae, presentation skills for job interviews
and self employment business start up programmes. Our Education and
Enterprise Committee, in association with Business Link, Sussex Enterprise
and other Business start up - related organisations, is actively pursuing
suitable deals and strategies that would benefit members and our community.
